Jimmy Buckley is one of Ireland’s leading country singers whose career continues to go from strength to strength. Following numerous visits across the water to England & the US, Jimmy is building up a large fan base and his concerts and dances are always sold out within a few days of tickets going on sale.
Jimmy first came to the attention of the Birmingham Audiences when he appeared on Bob Brolly’s Big Charity Show, in the Symphony Hall, Birmingham, on Sunday 22nd June 2003. Since that first appearance Jimmy’s star has certainly continued to rise. After his massive hit song “Your Wedding Day, Jimmy conquered the Irish music scene and he continues to make his mark on the concert scene in England.
In 2007 Jimmy released his first DVD "Live In Concert". The DVD won DVD of the year" Irish World award and it has been shown coast to coast on U.S television on more than one occasion. November 2008 saw the release of "The Grand Tour - Live", Jimmy's second Live in concert DVD & CD. This 23-track DVD builds on the success of Jimmy's first "Live In Concert" DVD.
Jimmy's latest album, featuring 15 great tracks was released in January 2010 , called "Country & Me", & continues to exceed everyone’s expectations.
February 2010 saw Jimmy embarking on "The Grand Tour" along with Robert Mizzell and Patrick Feeney. This toured nationwide and the three singers continue to get a great reception wherever they go.

The Johnny Quigley Band - Christmas Party Night. Saturday 18th December - €30

Their music has also taken them all over Europe to rapturous receptions. They have performed at every major venue in Ireland and abroad, including Dublin’s National Stadium, National Concert Hall, Cork’s Opera House, England’s Royal Albert Hall, New York’s Carnegie Hall and any other venue you care to mention.
They have been honoured on several occasions by being given the Keys to the cities of Ft Lauderdale and Hollywood (Florida) and Moorehead ,Kentucky. They are in the Hall Of Fame in The Helen Stairs Theatre in Florida, and have also received The Arkansas Traveller Award, all normally reserved for visiting dignitaries.
Among their many ardent fans are the beautiful actress Maureen O’Hara, star of that magical movie, “The Quiet Man”, ex-Republic of Ireland managers, Eoin Hand, Johnny Giles & Jack Charlton, and a host of well known celebrities.
