A blushing bride and bridegroom who won a competition for a €10,000 wedding at Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa, Laura Crilly and Mark Colhoun have finally been pronounced husband and wife. The couple who got engaged last summer wed in a stunning ceremony on 4th September & enjoyed a superb reception at the 4 Star Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa surrounded by all their family and friends.
The couple won a prize worth more than €10,000 in April this year, allowing them to have the day they always dreamed of. All the expenses of the reception, food & wine, flowers, champagne, seat covers, complimentary bridal suite, pampering day at the Rock Crystal Spa were taken care of by the hotel.
Speaking immediately after the reception Laura said, ‘We have had such an amazing day. Everything turned out better than we could have ever expected and we are looking to celebrate now with a great big party. We would like to thank everyone at the Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa for making our dream day a reality.’ She added, ‘I would definitely say to anyone thinking of booking their wedding at the Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa for 2010 – do it now and make sure you enter the 2010 draw as next year it could be your turn.’
Couples were automatically entered into the draw when they booked their wedding at the 4 Star Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa and when Laura & Mark heard their names called from the grand prize draw on Easter Saturday.
